Role Description:

Regional volunteers must commit to a one-day meeting which will be spent reviewing draft exam questions and providing feedback. There will be two (2) one-day meetings in London, and volunteers MUST reside in or around London. Volunteers should also make themselves available for both days, but will only be selected for one. No advance preparation is required.

Role Qualifications:

Volunteers must be CFA Charterholders in good standing. No previous exam review experience is required.

Conflicts Specific to the Role:

  • Must be members in good standing;
  • Must disclose every relationship with a prep provider, including work for a society-sponsored prep course;
  • Prohibited from working for a prep provider and acting as an exam team member at the same time;
  • Must disclose all work (including volunteer) for another testing organization in the finance industry;
  • Prohibited from teaching, developing materials, preparing students, or acting as an advisor for any prep provider for CFA or within the finance industry for one calendar year after conclusion of their term;
  • Disclose all immediate family and household members enrolled in the CFA or CIPM Program;
  • Cannot serve on the COE or on the team developing exam content for the specific exam (level) that immediate family or household member is registered to take;
  • Disclose all working relationships with individuals enrolled in the CFA and/or CIPM Program;
  • May not serve if a direct report and/or supervisor is registered for the exam the member is assigned to support;
  • Prohibited from acting as a standard setter, DRC member, CFA exam proctor, CFA exam supervisor, a PCR, and/or Investment Foundations/CIPM Advisory Committee member.
