Volunteer Objective:

• Members are responsible for the technical oversight of the GIPS Standards for Fiduciary Management Providers.

Work Location and Time Commitment:

• The time commitment for this role is quarterly conference calls or more frequently as needed, with time for document review and conference call preparation. CFA Institute members can earn Professional Learning (PL) Credit Hours for volunteer service on this committee (i.e., 1 CE hour per call, including up to 2 SER hours per year).

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides technical oversight of the GIPS Standards for Fiduciary Management Providers to UK Pension Schemes (GIPS Standards for FMPs) by guiding their development. This committee will include representatives from key industry stakeholders, to ensure their interests are represented and considered in the development of the GIPS Standards for FMPs. The FMP Technical Committee will identify market needs and offer interpretative guidance, define challenges, explain concerns, and offer directional guidance.  
  

Volunteer Experience and Requirements:

• Applicants should have a minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience with fiduciary management services in the UK market. Please note that you are required to submit your resume or CV with your application.
