Volunteer Objective:

• Members are responsible for the development of content specific to verifiers and service providers as identified and/or directed by the GIPS Standards Technical Committee.

Work Location and Time Commitment:

• The time commitment for this role is quarterly conference calls or more frequently as needed, with significant time for document review and conference call preparation. CFA Institute members can earn Professional Learning (PL) Credit Hours for volunteer service on this committee (i.e., 1 CE hour per call, including up to 2 SER hours per year).

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

• The GIPS Standards Verification Subcommittee is responsible for the development of content specific to verifiers as identified and/or directed by the GIPS Standards Technical Committee. This subcommittee will discuss verification industry issues, draft guidance, and provide feedback on proposals affecting verifiers. CIPM certificate holders preferred.  
  

Volunteer Experience and Requirements:

• GIPS Standards Verification Subcommittee Members should have deep experience with verification and the GIPS standards. Competencies include accounting or auditing experience (5+ years). Please note that you are required to submit your resume or CV with your application.
