CFA Society of Nebraska is pleased to announce that our 15th annual signature event, our Value Investing Dinner, will be held on April 30, 2026, the Thursday evening prior to the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. The 2026 event will be hosted at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, the same location as last year.
Our keynote speaker is Meb Faber, founder and CEO of Cambria Investment Management.

Mr. Faber is the manager of Cambria’s ETFs and separate accounts. Mr. Faber hosts The Meb Faber Show podcast and has authored numerous white papers and leather-bound books. During the presentation, Meb Faber will discuss the current macro environment and the latest trends in value and momentum investing. He will explore the discount in value vs. growth, foreign vs. domestic, and small caps vs. large caps. Meb will also discuss his latest book: “Shareholder Yield” and the continued evolution of ETFs with the recent launch of the 351 Exchange.
The event will kick-off with an opportunity for you to socialize and network during the cocktail hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. We have had a great turnout in the past with audiences including an eclectic mix of local CFA Nebraska members, business leaders, university students and out-of-town guests attending Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Meeting.
