Mar 19, 05:30 PM - 07:30 PM (ET)
Sponsored by Man Group and Co-Produced with The Bond Club of Philadelphia.
Are we witnessing the end of four decades of neoliberal economic integration?
Man Group’s latest research which represents the findings from a bespoke project carried out for a large Canadian pension fund, suggests that deglobalization isn’t just another market cycle—it may represent a fundamental regime shift.
Please join Dr Alex Preston, CFA (Head of Advisory at Man Group) on Thursday, March 19th to explore:
Economic Regime Change: Lessons from past transitions—from the Gold Standard to Bretton Woods to neoliberal globalization. The Economics of Deglobalization: Forces behind protectionism, reshoring, and the rise of multipolar economic blocs. Investment Implications: Insights into how structural shifts have shaped asset classes and market dynamics.
This presentation also delivers new ways of using data and AI to establish the long-term impact of geopolitical shocks and regime shifts on portfolios, drawing on research from academics at Brown University and Oxford University.
