CFA Society Hartford

History

CFA Society Hartford was incorporated in 1952 as a non-profit organization to serve the financial community of Greater Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA. It is affiliated with CFA Institute and it shares a common goal to promote the highest ethical and investment standards.

CFA Society Hartford has played a leading role in financial life of the greater Hartford and surrounding areas financial life for over 70 years. Today, the Society's 700+ members working in over 175 investment organizations throughout the greater Hartford area in asset and wealth management, banking, corporate finance, academia, philanthropy, treasury, risk management, and other traditional investment sectors as well as the growing sectors: FinTech, data science, private equity, venture capital, and ESG investment.

CFA Society Hartford is one of the largest Societies among the more than 150 CFA Societies globally and one of the most diverse. With a membership of 700 investment professionals in the greater Hartford area, CFA Society Hartford provides constituents with leading-edge educational events, corporate presentations, career development programs, and networking opportunities.
