Held on 9 August 2025 (Saturday) at MyKart Raceway, the event brought together renewed members for a thrilling day of high-speed fun, friendly competition, and camaraderie. From lighthearted rivalries to photo finishes, every lap was filled with energy, laughter, and team spirit.

Beyond the racing action, members enjoyed a delicious lunch and the opportunity to reconnect with peers and fellow Charterholders — reinforcing the strong sense of community that fuels CFA Society Malaysia.

Durian Party 2025: A Night of Creamy Indulgence and Member Camaraderie

The king of fruits made its grand return — and so did one of our most anticipated annual gatherings! As part of the CFA Society Malaysia 2025/2026 Membership Renewal Campaign, members came together for an evening of fun, laughter, and durian indulgence at our exclusive Durian Party 2025.

From rich, creamy textures to bold, aromatic flavours, attendees savoured a variety of premium durians, sharing the joy (and aroma!) with fellow Charterholders in a relaxed and social setting. The event offered the perfect blend of indulgence and connection — celebrating both the local favourite fruit and the vibrant CFA community that continues to grow stronger each year.

Market over Meals: What’s Cooking in 2H 2025?

As part of our CFA® Membership Renewal Campaign, members gathered for an exclusive Market over Meals power lunch to gain timely market perspectives and reconnect over meaningful conversations.

The session featured Mr. Wong Kon How, PBM, renowned market strategist, who shared his expert insights on global and regional market trends shaping the second half of 2025. Members enjoyed a thought-provoking discussion on macroeconomic developments, investment opportunities, and risk considerations — all served alongside a specially curated lunch, offered exclusively to members at a subsidized rate.

The event provided an engaging platform for professional exchange, networking, and deep market insight — reinforcing the value of our CFA community.

Exclusive Members’ Premiere Night

As part of our FY26 CFA® Membership Renewal Campaign, members were treated to an exhilarating evening at the exclusive premiere screening of F1: The Movie, hosted in the luxurious TGV Indulge Hall, KLCC.

The night delivered high-octane excitement — from fast cars to cinematic flair — paired with great company and a premium movie-going experience. Members enjoyed light refreshments, popcorn, and drinks, all at a specially subsidized member rate of RM15 (originally RM85).

Beyond the blockbuster thrills, the event was a celebration of our members and the vibrant community that drives CFA Society Malaysia forward. It was a perfect blend of entertainment, networking, and appreciation — marking another successful highlight in our ongoing Membership Renewal Campaign.

Members Pickle & Mingle: Kicking Off Our Membership Renewal Season with a Smash!

On 17 May 2025, CFA Society Malaysia members gathered for an exciting day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition at our Members Pickle & Mingle event — the official kick-off to our Membership Renewal Campaign.

The day brought together members from across the community to connect, rally, and share in the spirit of camaraderie — both on and off the pickleball court. Laughter and energy filled the air as participants teamed up for some lighthearted matches, cheered each other on, and celebrated the Society’s vibrant member network.

More than just a game, the event was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect and renew the energy that drives our community forward.

CFA Institute Research Challenge - Malaysia Local Final

On 22 February 2025, the 2024/25 CFA Institute Research Challenge Malaysia Local Final brought together some of the brightest young finance minds in the country. This season, participants took on the challenge of conducting an in-depth equity analysis on @westports_malaysia , testing their ability to evaluate real-world investment opportunities.

After months of research and diligent preparations, we are proud to announce the top teams:

[Pathfinder Summit 2024] Career Day: Navigating Your Career Journey

Our Career Day 2024, held on 7 September 2024 at Connexion @ The Vertical, Bangsar South, concluded successfully. The event saw the participation of a diverse group of individuals, including career enthusiasts, industry professionals, and Career Gurus, providing attendees with a comprehensive platform for career development and networking.

Attendees had access to one-on-one career counseling sessions led by industry experts, which provided personalized guidance and advice. In addition to these sessions, a series of forums and a workshop session was conducted, focusing on key career skills, financial modelling and industry trends. The sessions were well-attended, with active participation from attendees.

On 20 July, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive event for our esteemed CFA members at HWC Coffee Academy. The Latte Art Workshop was a delightful experience, combining learning and creativity as participants explored the art of crafting beautiful lattes.

The session, designed to be both informative and enjoyable, equipped attendees with new skills and techniques to enhance their coffee-making craft. The enthusiastic participation and dedication of the members played a pivotal role in making the workshop a resounding success.
