SPEAKERS

Alvin Tan is a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance practice of FTI Consulting Philippines, Inc. Mr. Tan has more than ten years of experience in financial advisory services across several industry sectors, including financial institutions, education, healthcare, real estate & REITs, infrastructure, retail, technology, and power & utilities.

Mr. Tan has meaningful corporate advisory and transaction support experience providing strategic advice to clients. His expertise encompasses financial model preparation and review, shares and intangible assets valuation, and purchase price allocation exercise. He has also assisted engagements covering financial due diligence, fraud investigation, restructuring, and sell-side mergers and acquisitions in the Philippines. 

Mr. Tan has developed and reviewed financial models for various projects in the power & utilities and education sectors. He has also led financial modeling engagements for Public-Private Partnership projects in the infrastructure and payment systems space.

Mr. Tan has significant experience in the valuation of shares and intangible assets. He has spearheaded and performed a number of complex valuation engagements, including fairness opinions and valuations of majority and minority stakes in public and private firms. He has also conducted intangible asset valuations and purchase price allocation exercises for mergers and acquisitions in the automotive, banking, water, ports, and power sectors.

Mr. Tan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Financial Management from the University of Santo Tomas, having graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was the batch valedictorian and was awarded the most outstanding graduate of the College of Commerce and Business Administration. Mr. Tan is a CFA charterholder. He is currently a trustee and the Vice President for Academic Relations of the CFA Society Philippines. He is a Certified Advanced Financial Modeler. He is also a Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) Charter holder given by the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore.


Christopher (Topy) Dajay is a Manager in the Corporate Finance practice of FTI Consulting Philippines, Inc. Mr. Dajay has more than seven years of experience in rendering financial advisory services across multiple industry sectors, including power & utilities, airport, real estate, retail, cement, gaming and fintech.

Mr. Dajay has extensive knowledge in financial model preparation and review, business and intangible valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and research. He has also assisted in engagements involving fairness opinions, purchase price allocations, financial due diligence, and restructuring.

Mr. Dajay has in-depth expertise in preparing, managing, and reviewing financial models in the airport, power, and water sectors, working with industry leaders, conglomerates, private entities and early-stage companies. His recent engagements involve the preparation of financial models for an unsolicited PPP project and a bulk water supply and distribution business, as well as a review of financial models for solar, hydro, wind, and thermal power projects.

Mr. Dajay has also conducted fairness opinion and valuation studies for local companies under real estate, power, technology, healthcare, F&B, and radio broadcasting, among other sectors. He has also assisted FTI offices globally by preparing comprehensive research reports on companies from various industries, developing a liquidation model, and preparing and improving financial databooks.

Mr. Dajay is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a CFA charterholder as recognized by the CFA Institute and a member of the CFA Society Philippines. He is also a Chartered Financial Modeler and Advanced Financial Modeler as recognized by the Financial Modeling Institute.
