Overview
The CFA Society Pakistan Mentorship Program is designed to support newly inducted members in developing the skills, confidence, and professional network needed to advance their careers.
This volunteer-led initiative connects mentees with experienced finance and investment professionals who provide guidance, industry insights, and career support throughout the program journey.
Program Duration: Six Months.
How it works?
During this program, the Mentees and Mentors will get a chance to engage in online sessions, and participate in career development events and workshops to enhance their interpersonal and leadership skills.
Both parties would meet voluntarily for minimum 60 minutes every month over a period of six months to discuss the potential career development pathways. Mentors and Mentees can spend more time if agreed between the parties.
The closing event of the program is planned to be held in May 2027, where Mentors and Mentees will be invited to celebrate, network, and share their experiences from the program.

Mentor Requirements:
- Member of CFA Society Pakistan.
- CFA Charterholder with more than 10 years of work experience.
- Work experience in the investment management, banking or financial services sector.
- Have a passion for developing and supporting future future leaders.
- Have motivation to give back to the younger members of the Society.
- Able to commit to one-to-one mentoring during monthly meetings.
- Some previous experience as a Mentor would be preferred but is not essential.

Become a Mentee
Why become a Mentee?

Mentee requirements
- Member of CFA Society Pakistan (Regular/Affiliate member)
- 3 years full time work experience in Investment Management, Banking or Financial Services sectors.
- Have keen interest in personal and professional development.
- Eager to learn and willing to be challenged.
- Willing to commit to one-on-one mentoring to gain valuable experience from their Mentor.
- Prepared to establish goals, schedule monthly meetings, and set the agenda for those meetings.
- Receptive to feedback.
